Eating Out Guide | Frankie and Benny's
So when I think of veganism and where I could go out to eat, the last place I would ever consider is Frankie and Benny’s. However they have bought out a lot of new vegan additions to their menu so I had to give it a try!
We ordered a whole lot to takeaway so we can sit and eat whilst watching a film and it was honestly great!
Let me start with what the options are, and then I will let you know our favourites out of the ones we tried!
Vegan Garlic Bread with/without vegan Mozzarella
Viva La Vegan Burger
The Beet Burger
Vegan Mac and Cheese
Vegan Margherita Pizza
Vegan Kansas City BBQ Pizza
Vegan Skinny Veggie Pizza
I aint no chicken parmigiana
Not Hot Dog
Sweet Potato Fries
What did I think!
So we tried between us the BBQ Pizza, Garlic bread with mozz, Mac and Cheese, the Viva La Vegan Burger and the Chickenless Nuggets and the clear winner was the Viva La Vegan Burger.
It was sooooo tasty, with all the trimmings you would want, and the burger sauce was amazing. If I was going back this would be what I would order time and time again.
The BBQ pizza was probably our second favourite, and reminded me of an non vegan bbq chicken pizza, and was super delicious. The chicken pieces reminded me of the fry’s strips, I am not sure if this is what they used but thats what they taste the closest too! Along the same line the garlic bread was also really good, although I would be happy to have this with or without the vegan cheese.
Now the nuggets were great… but the portion size is crazy. You get 6 nuggets for over £6 which they are just not worth. Yes they’re tasty but over a pound a nugget is not my thing!
The Mac n Cheese was good and tasty enough, but nothing groundbreaking and I probably wouldn’t order it again. Like I said good, but if your going up again the burger its a clear winner as to which one I would have again!
Hope you guys found this useful!
